Job description

Make an impact supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work with middle and high school students in a dynamic school environment near Charlestown, NH. There are multiple positions available, making it an ideal role for compassionate, adaptable professionals eager to start or continue their career in education.

You’ll work collaboratively with teachers and staff to provide educational, emotional, and behavioral support to students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Roles are available in both middle school (2 positions) and high school (up to 2 positions), so candidates interested in working with different age groups are encouraged to apply.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools.
  • Comfort assisting students with academic tasks, classroom activities, or adaptive needs.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Strong communication, patience, and a team-oriented approach.
  • Reliability and commitment to the duration of the 2026-2027 academic year (September 2026 – June 2027).
  • Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, between 32-37.5 hours per week.

In this role, you will:

  • Support classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks.
  • Provide individualized or small group assistance as directed.
  • Encourage student engagement and help manage classroom behavior.
  • Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining classroom organization.
  • Adapt responsibilities as needed throughout the school year to meet evolving school and student needs.
