DUTIES

This is a support position for the Central Stores Warehouse & Mail Services.
There are several different parts to this position, changing by student availability. It can include any of the following:
*Picking up UWSP mail at the USPS in Stevens Point
*Sorting USPS mail for on-campus delivery
*Delivering USPS mail to the academic bldgs./Picking up outgoing mail at the academic bldgs.
*Delivering packages from UPS/FedEx to academic bldgs
*Checking out parts from Central Stores for technicians
*Picking/Delivering Central Stores orders for campus
*Misc clerical and janitorial (basic housekeeping for the warehouse) duties
*Special Projects as assigned
You can work as little as 1 shift per week or several, and there is the opportunity for Winterim/Summer employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:

You will be required to drive a state vehicle, so you will need to meet the following qualifications:
*Have a valid driver's license

*More than 2 years of licensed driving experience
*Less than three moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past two years
*No OWI or DUI violation within the past year
In addition, one must be flexible, as every day will likely be different. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must, as well as good customer service skills. Proficiency with computers (familiar with Word, Excel, etc) is a bonus.
