This role oversees the student services team, ensures students are well-supported throughout their time at the seminary, and serves as a central point of contact for student needs, concerns, and wellbeing. The Head of Student Services works closely with academic and enrollment teams to ensure a cohesive and supportive student experience.
What you'll do
โ€ข Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the student services team and its functions.
โ€ข Oversee student support services, including advising, wellbeing resources, and general student welfare.
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and enforce student services policies and procedures.
โ€ข Serve as a primary point of contact for student concerns, questions, and needs, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
โ€ข Coordinate student life programming and activities that support community and engagement.
โ€ข Monitor student satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve the overall student experience.
โ€ข Collaborate with academic affairs and enrollment teams to ensure consistent communication and support across the student lifecycle.
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of student services activity, cases, and outcomes.
โ€ข Escalate significant student concerns or disciplinary matters to the Associate Director as needed.
โ€ข Prepare regular reports on student services performance and operations for the Associate Director.
Qualifications
