Job Description:
The Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management's (DPSEM) Program Coordinator provides operational and programmatic support for community engagement and outreach initiatives. This individual plays a key role in coordinating and implementing community-building initiatives among students, staff, and community members that promote a deepening sense of belonging, trust, and connection with the department. In carrying out these responsibilities, this individual works to improve community empowerment, community-police relations, transparency, and accountability. The Coordinator supports the Director of Advocacy, Engagement, and Communications by organizing events and programs, managing outreach and communications, and carrying out day-to-day administrative tasks.
