General Description
The purpose of this position is to provide office administrative support to Disability Support Services.
Essential Job Duties
Greet guests and assist students and
visitors.
Answer phones, direct phone calls, and take messages.
File confidential materials.
Deliver confidential materials to departments on campus in a timely manner.
Additional office duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Eligible for work study program.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to appropriate ethical and legal requirements concerning confidentiality.
Ability to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
Ability to handle papers, files, and operate office equipment such as copier and hole punch.
Sufficient vision to review paperwork for completion, and file paperwork efficiently; sufficient hearing for responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Familiarity with basic computer office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
