The Student Dining Supervisor is responsible for managing operations of F&B location for student dining at Story Land. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include overseeing assigned F&B hosts, food safety and sanitation, guest service, food preparation and quality controls.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the student dining location and hosts assigned.
  • Maintain accurate levels of inventory and fill out order requests for your location.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment: refrigeration, fryers, griddles, ovens, food warmers, soda fountains, etc.
  • Plan all student meals (breakfast and dinner) while incorporating items from the USA and other cultures.
  • Ensure location remains clean and stocked.
  • Complete any requested daily/weekly documentation.
  • Manage any hosts corrective actions.
  • Coordinate host lunch and break periods.
  • Communicate pertinent information between management and hosts.
  • Create an enhanced dining experience for our students.
  • Manage compliance with NH State Health Department and other inspectors/auditors in your locations.
  • Obtain ServSafe certification (training provided).
  • Report any potential safety hazards and maintenance requests to management.
  • Be a team player

Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Punctual, reliable
  • Flexible schedule
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to be productive during slow periods
  • Able to follow direction and communicate relevant information.
  • Able to maintain hygiene and personal appearance consistent with policies outlined in the Host Handbook.
  • Able to follow daily tasks as outlined in the food & beverage standard operation procedures.
  • Able to lift light loads (25 lbs.,) to stand for prolonged periods of time (5+ hours,) bend/squat, reach and climb/descend stairs.
  • Assist with trucks and deliveries when needed
  • Desire to have fun while creating a memorable experience
