Purpose of Job
Help the Office of Admission reach out to prospective students.
General Description and Duties
We have three openings for Student Calling Assistants.
In this role, you will work directly with the Student Recruitment Specialists, providing support with outreach to prospective students. Generally, the student will work 5-7 hours throughout the week during the evening. Nights worked would be Sunday through Thursday. The schedule is based on students' schedules. The majority of hours will be spent on the phone talking to prospective students.
Duties include:
  • Contacting prospective students and sharing their Doane experience
  • Completing projects as assigned by Student Recruitment Specialists
  • Computer data entry and filing
Special Skills or Knowledge Required
  • Requires an outgoing personality, professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Students who have been at Doane for at least one semester will have preference.
