Job description

Position Information
Position Title Student Leader Department Office of Admissions Responsibilities
-Student Leaders work in the Office of Admissions to provide support and promote the various functions of the College, including the recruitment and retention of students.
-Work approximately 16 hours a week, usually Monday - Friday, with occasional evening or Saturday hours required.
-Interact with students, faculty, and staff across the campus.
-Organize and conduct campus tours.
-Assist the Office of Admissions with recruitment initiatives and marketing/social media campaigns.
-Work at the front counter and assist with general admissions processes such as answering the phone, filing, scanning, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.
-Work at Student Services events.
-Attend relevant trainings and meetings.
-Fulfill duties as needed in the Office of Admissions.
Qualifications
-Be in good standing with the College and community.
-Strong desire to learn and participate in student leadership activities.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Ability to provide leadership and guidance.
-Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in small groups.
-Open to learning new skills.
-Prior participation in a student organization or activity preferred.
-2.5 cumulative gpa required to maintain the position.
