  • Process accounts payable and maintain vendor accounts
  • Ensure that receivables are collected promptly and receive customer payments
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Serve as the company’s Concur expense software administrator and audit employee expense reports
  • Maintain company’s fixed assets schedules by classifying fixed assets, calculating depreciation, recording disposals and completing property tax return
  • Prepare sales and use tax returns based on reporting requirements
  • Participate in monthly and year-end accounting close cycles
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes that scale with the organization's growth.
  • Complete ad hoc analyses and other duties as assigned by the Senior Controller
Requirements

Minimum qualifications are listed below; however, stronger skillsets and experience are welcome and rewarded at ROI!

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with an anticipated graduation date no later than May 2027
  • Available to work part-time (10 - 20 hours per week), following a transition to a full-time schedule upon graduation
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above
Essential Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other advanced Excel functions, or a willingness and ability to learn them quickly
