Job Summary
The Learning Support Success Center has openings for Academic Coaches in the Math Support lab. The Learning Support Success Center is available to all students who are enrolled in MATH 0997 and Math 0999, and STAT 0996. The coaches are expected to assist students with understanding of Support for College Algebra, Support for Quantitative Reasoning, and Support for Elementary Statistics. Coaches will also support students as mentors and as a connection to campus resources.
Responsibilities
To provide academic coaching services to students enrolled MATH 0999, MATH 0997, and STAT 0996. Students hired for this position will also be required to participate in training pertaining to mentoring.
Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have taken and earned an above-average grade (A or B) in required college courses or AP credit in the subject matter.
Proposed Salary
Salary is commensurate to education and experience.
