Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
Student Assistants will perform various job duties as requested by the department. These range from greeting the customers, to answering the phone to cleaning the lab or gym equipment.
Responsibilities
General responsibilities for all Student Assistants:
  • Greet the customers and answer their questions
  • answer the phones and give out information or be able to transfer the caller to the correct person
  • file paperwork
  • Use the fax machine and copier
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Assist the managers with basic excel and word document input and creations
  • Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications
Must be a current Albany State Student enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours.
