Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Student Assistant - Institutional Student Worker, on the Cumming Campus. The student assistant will serve as the receptionist at the information desk and provide clerical support to students, faculty and staff.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as the receptionist at the Information Desk and provides clerical support to students, faculty and staff.
  • Greet visitors
  • Answer phones, triage calls, and direct caller to appropriate departments for assistance.
  • Assist students, parents, and others who are visiting the campus by determining their needs and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel for assistance.
  • Answer general routine questions

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
