Job description

E-logic is seeking a highly skilled SOC Director to join our team in support of the State of Texas - Department of Information Resources (DIR) Shared Technology Services (STS) SecOps contract. The SOC Director will be employed by E-logic to lead and oversee $24/7/365$ cybersecurity operations supporting the Data Center Services (DCS) infrastructure for the State of Texas. This role is responsible for incident response, active monitoring, SIEM engineering, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage continuous ($24/7/365$) SOC operations, ensuring high availability and adherence to strict SLAs.
  • Oversee threat intelligence, threat hunting, digital forensics, and vulnerability management services aligned with NIST standards.
  • Ensure compliance with stringent incident response, triage, escalation, and investigation timelines.
  • Supervise the integration and optimization of SIEM tools and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms for real-time monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with the Multi-Sourcing Integrator (MSI) and DIR leadership to deliver operational dashboards and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience leading security operations or managing enterprise SOC environments.
  • CISSP, CISM, GCIH, CISA, or equivalent certifications aligned with the NIST NICE/NCWF framework.
  • Proven experience in managing security for multi-cloud environments (Public/Private Cloud) and government infrastructure.
