STS Technical Services is hiring a Quality Engineer in Warren, Michigan. This role is built for professionals who understand product integrity, process control, and how to turn data into action inside a manufacturing environment.
If you can read prints, evaluate systems, and build quality standards that actually hold up on the floor, this is your lane.
Position Summary
The Quality Engineer is responsible for evaluating product design, functionality, and reliability while developing and maintaining quality standards across systems, equipment, and processes. This role supports continuous improvement by identifying risks, analyzing data, and implementing solutions that protect quality and performance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop sampling procedures and create forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
  • Establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing systems
  • Support validation of measurement and analytical equipment and facility capabilities
  • Analyze product and process data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in developing and delivering training related to quality control activities
  • Support quality initiatives across areas including design, incoming materials, process control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative functions

Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports
