Electrical Engineer/ Project Manager

Eastmont/ Grand Rapids OR Detroit/ Troy

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

$100k – $150k Base, Full benefits, Flex/ Hybrid schedule, Bonus, Profit Sharing, etc.

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl, 50 in EE) who work on a wide variety of projects, including: Healthcare, Education, Science & Technology, Sports stadiums, Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hi-rise/ multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

OVERVIEW

The ideal Candidate will lead project electrical engineer in the design, development and documentation of primary power, secondary power, lighting, fire alarm and other auxiliary systems on small, medium, and large complex projects.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm in accordance with NEC codes and standards

• Electrical equipment calcs, selection, and layout of switchgear, transformers, electrical panels and emergency generators

• Site visits, presentations for clients/ design review, site Surveys, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings

• Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, AGI 32, MicroStation (a plus)

• Degreed BSEE BSAE or equivalent

• 5+ years Industry experience in the US

• EIT, PE, LEED Preferred (a plus)
