Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Interior Installation Technicians to join our completions team in Broomfield, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for installing customized aircraft interiors-panels, seats, cabinets, carpeting, and more-on business and specialty aircraft. Our projects vary from executive passenger layouts to air ambulance conversions, meaning no two days are ever the same. If you're detail-oriented, passionate about aviation, and ready to contribute to a team that delivers high-quality results, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install sidewalls, headliner panels, cabinets, and other interior components
  • Fit and install aircraft carpeting
  • Install cockpit and cabin seating
  • Perform functional checks on installed systems
  • Ensure defect-free assembly and report deviations as needed
  • Record progress in job cards, acceptance test procedures, and production documents
  • Use proper safety equipment and follow company/government safety requirements

Additional Duties
  • Assist Quality Control with aircraft weight and balance reports
  • Inspect incoming aircraft parts and materials
  • Clean, detail, and assist in aircraft movement
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Perform additional projects or duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance and work overtime as required

Qualifications
  • High school diploma with strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent training
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, stairs, and working in confined spaces
  • Proficient with hand tools and specialized test equipment
  • General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
