Job description

Location: Columbus, OH Area (Dublin, Hilliard, and New Albany, OH)
Start Date: Immediate Openings – Rolling Starts Over the Next Two Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM (depending on project needs)
Overtime: Available; voluntary Saturdays and occasional weekend work
Pay Rate: $22 – $26 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Installers to support large-scale data center construction projects throughout the Columbus, Ohio area. This is a hands-on role focused on structured cabling, fibe infrastructure, security rough-in, and A/V rough-in installations within new construction environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience with copper and fiber cabling systems, be comfortable working independently, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Install structured cabling systems for new construction data center projects.
Pull, route, dress, label, and terminate Cat6 copper cabling according to industry standards.
Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, and conduit systems.
Support fiber optic installations, including termination, testing, and splicing based on experience level.
Perform cable certification and testing using Fluke testers and related equipment.
Assist with security system and A/V rough-in installations.
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and scope documents.
Maintain organized work areas and follow all safety requirements.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, project leads, and team members.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on low-voltage or structured cabling experience.
Experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat6 cabling.
Experience installing conduit, cable tray, and J-hook pathways.
OSHA 10 Certification (Required).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders in active construction environments.
Supervisor reference required.
Preferred Qualifications
Fiber optic termination, testing, and splicing experience.
Data center construction experience.
Security system rough-in experience.
Audio/Visual (A/V) installation experience.
Experience using Fluke testing equipment.
