Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring an Electrical Project Manager in New Albany, OH for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.ย 

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $130,000 to $150,000 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop resource plans and evaluate needs in conjunction with project requirements.
  • Oversees and presents project financial/cost reports as required or requested within defined timelines
  • Manage assigned projects in accordance with schedule that supports favorable performance indexing that meets or exceeds the expectations of the project plan.
  • Manages full project lifecycles from RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and design planning to execution and closeout
  • Effectively manage subcontractor / vendor performance to ensure compliant project delivery.
  • Provide progress updates, reports, and performance metrics
Qualifications:
  • 8+ yrsโ€™ experience managing electrical projects as a PM from $10MM+
  • Solid BICSI foundation with strong understanding of structured cabling / low-voltage environments (data center/Hyperscale).
  • Familiarity with fiber conveyance, pathways, and connectivity work
  • Deep understanding of data center design (floor layout, cable tray, and rack usage), connectivity, and structured cabling systems
  • Full retrofit of clientโ€™s fiber and copper network infrastructure
  • Scheduling & Coordination-Comfortable leading and communicating 5-week lookaheads
  • Able to coordinate labor, materials, and install sequencing within an active data center construction environment
  • Strong safety mindset with experience operating in safety-first construction environments
  • This individual will oversee a large team structure including Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and Techs.
  • Expected leadership scope of roughly 70+ personnel on site. Roughly 60+ techs onsite at the moment including union representation.
  • MUST have OSHA 30 (or obtain within 6-months)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing ladders and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to talk or hear, sit, stand, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, use hands, work in tight or restricted areas, and/or reach out for prolonged periods of time
  • Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority. ย
