Gudenkauf, a Congruex Company, is looking for Structured Cabling Technicians to join our team.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Work with a team of technicians in all aspects of completing scope of work to completion under supervision of Lead Technician or Superintendent
  • Ability to interpret and understand site drawings
  • Work on large copper and fiber installations consisting of 200+ drops
  • Closet build-out
  • Must have understanding of structured cabling installation best practices, codes, standards, and troubleshooting and a desire for continuous learning
  • Must maintain safety guidelines and bring any safety issues to the attention of direct supervisor immediately
  • Ability to travel to job sites around mid-west that could span multiple days depending on location of project sites

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Communication and teamwork skills to work well with team, leadership and customers
  • Must have a strong understanding of industry standards
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling
  • Ability to travel and work 2nd and 3rd shifts when needed
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with ladder and lift work
  • Must be 18 years of age

Desired Skills:
  • BICSI installer 1, 2 or technician certifications
  • OSHA 30 Training/OSHA 10 Training/ First Aid Certification
  • Ability to enforce safety practices on jobsite
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
