About the Role

Octus is expanding its Structured Finance Insights (SFI) product, and we're looking for someone early in their structured finance career to help build it. You'll work directly with CLO investors, asset managers, and structured credit professionals - supporting trials, onboarding, and renewals for a fast-growing product line.

This is a hands-on seat at the intersection of structured credit and financial data, with mentorship from senior structured finance leadership and a clear path toward a dedicated Product Specialist role as you grow.

What You'll Do

  • Guide prospective clients through trials of the SFI product, from setup through conversion
  • Onboard new clients and help them get to value fast on the platform
  • Support data integrations with tools like Intex, Moody's Structured Finance Portal, and Kanerai
  • Run regular client check-ins, flag expansion opportunities, and partner with Account Managers on commercial strategy
  • Bring client feedback back to Product and Research to shape the SFI roadmap
  • Build user guides and training materials for CLO investor workflows

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in structured finance, CLO analytics, or a related role at a service provider, ratings agency, or financial institution

  • Strong communication skills - you can explain structured credit concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a data or analytics vendor serving structured finance clients (Bloomberg, Trepp, Kanerai)
  • CFA candidacy or interest in pursuing the designation
  • Comfort with Python or SQL

Based in NYC, in-office 3 days/week.
