Job Description
Are you a skilled Welder who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and precision work? We are seeking an experienced Welder to perform finish welding on structural steel fabrications while adhering to AWS D1.1 standards and project specifications. Responsibilities
  • Set up and finish weld structural steel fabrications according to AWS D1.1 standards and fabrication drawings
  • Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, bills of material, and fabrication drawings
  • Inspect completed work using measuring and inspection tools to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drill presses, grinders, forklifts, and overhead cranes
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and inspecting equipment prior to use
  • Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines and production goals
  • Assist with training and mentoring welders as needed
  • Support additional fabrication and production activities as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Welder per AWS D1.1 standards preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a structural steel or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and understand weld symbols, structural fabrication drawings, and bills of material
  • Experience working with fabrication equipment and material handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing setting
