Job description

Job Title: Structural Welder
Job Description

Join our team as a 3rd Shift Fabricator where you will build and weld structural steel products such as columns, beams, and stairs according to specifications on blueprints. This position involves working with various materials, shaping and welding them to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for installation.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints for building structural steel products.
  • Review the quality of work and ensure structures are ready for installation.
  • Cut, size, shape, and bend materials, tack them into place, and weld them.
  • Ensure stairs or handles are prepared for job site arrival.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in structural welding and MIG welding.
  • Experience in fabrication and reading blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and growth-oriented environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in MIG welding or iron workers union welding.
  • Union welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass written Weld and Blueprint tests.
  • AWS and AISC Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read angles and use a tape measure accurately.

The ideal candidate will align with the company's culture, environment, and effort requirements. The shift is 3rd shift M-TH 6pm-6am, with an immediate need for 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
