Job description

Resolute Performance Iron is a structural steel contractor seeking a detail-oriented leader to oversee multiple steel projects from start to finish. The majority of our work is within the steel construction industry, and we are looking for someone who can manage projects through every phase of execution.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
This role includes preparing and submitting proposals, developing and maintaining project schedules, ordering and tracking materials, directing shop and field staff, and managing all project closeout processes.
Responsibilities
  • Manage structural steel projects from kickoff through completion
  • Review drawings, specs, and contract documents
  • Coordinate with detailing, shop, and field teams
  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator (PC) on the release of work packages
  • Utilize software such as Vista and Trimble PowerFab for project tracking and management
  • Track material, fabrication, and delivery schedules
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Communicate with GCs, engineers, and clients
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
  • Demonstration of efficient problem solving is a plus.
Qualifications
  • Substantial knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals
  • Experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals project management
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes
  • Ability to read structural drawings
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple jobs
  • Experience with Tekla, Bluebeam, Vista, or Trimble PowerFab is a plus
