Role Description The Structural Steel Drafter is a full-time, on-site (office) role based in Duluth, MN. This position prepares detailed shop and erection drawings for structural steel components, including beams, columns, connections, rebar, and miscellaneous metals, using Autodesk Advance Steel and Revit software. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and engineering plans, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and shop personnel, and ensuring drawings comply with codes, standards, and project specifications. The drafter reviews and updates drawings based on markups and RFIs, maintains organized project documentation, and supports fabrication by providing clear, accurate details and quantities.
