Job description

We are currently looking for a team focused and dedicated Senior Structural Engineer in Honolulu, HI. As a member of our team, you will actively be working with our network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. Youโ€™ll be challenged with leading and designing facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems. This role will require you to lead the development of project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer
  • Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license
  • Structural Engineer, (S.E.) licensed in Hawaii, or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis with a Masters degree in structural engineering highly desired.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
  • Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered
  • Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline project teams
  • Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, Mathcad)
  • Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam)

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
