Position Summary

SSFM International, Inc. is seeking an experienced and licensed Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Hawaii. In this key leadership role, you will oversee complex structural engineering projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Candidates must hold a valid Hawaii Professional Structural Engineer license (SE) and have extensive experience in structural design and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead the design, analysis, and review of structural systems for a wide range of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other civil structures.
  • Technical Excellence: Prepare and review calculations, plans, specifications, and reports; ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and project teams; foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
  • Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients; attend meetings, present solutions, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Project Management: Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements
