Job Description: PURPOSE OF POSITION: Engineer III or IV - Natural Gas & Water

What You'll Do
Depending on qualifications and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Planning, designing, and supporting natural gas and water distribution infrastructure projects.
- Preparing engineering studies, technical analyses, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Supporting construction, operations, maintenance, and system improvement initiatives.
- Managing capital improvement projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and contractor coordination.
- Developing, reviewing, and approving engineering drawings and project documentation.
- Utilizing AutoCAD and other engineering software to support project development and execution.
- Collaborating with operations personnel, contractors, consultants, developers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Providingtechnical guidance, mentoring, and leadership toengineering staff.
WhatWe'reLooking For:
Engineer III
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline(ABET accredited required).
- Minimum4years of applicablenatural gas or waterengineering design experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licenserequired.
Engineer IV
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline(ABET accredited required).
- Minimum8years ofnatural gas or waterengineeringdesignexperience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licenserequired.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
PreferredSkills
- Experience with natural gas distribution and transmission system design.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to the natural gas industry.
- Experience managing complex infrastructure or capital improvement projects.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
