Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for a senior-level role focused on engineering oversight, operations, and team leadership. This position goes beyond design work and involves managing projects, supervising teams, and ensuring high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residential and commercial structural conditions

  • Develop, stamp, and approve engineering reports and repair designs

  • Serve as the primary technical authority on engineering decisions

  • Supervise and mentor Engineers-in-Training and field staff

  • Oversee site evaluations and quality control processes

  • Manage multiple projects and field teams simultaneously

  • Coordinate scheduling, billing, and administrative workflows

  • Oversee purchasing, equipment, and material usage

  • Manage shop operations, vehicles, and maintenance programs

  • Provide leadership across engineering, field, and office teams

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 5+ years of engineering experience

  • Experience in structural or construction engineering preferred

  • Construction management or contractor experience is a plus

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
