GRW is a full-service engineering, architectural, and geospatial consulting firm. As a Structural Engineer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues on many kinds of projects. GRW offers a wide variety of engineering services for our clients' infrastructure and building design needs. Our multidiscipline personnel function as a cohesive design team to create local and regional utility systems, energy-efficient buildings, environmentally sensitive site developments, and safe, modern transportation infrastructure. GRW provides comprehensive technical resources for all types of private facilities and public infrastructure designs. Experienced and accomplished in their own fields, GRW's mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers are an integral part of our projects. These multidisciplinary design team members apply their expertise to deliver projects that meet our client's objectives. Because of our in-house team, GRW has capability to successfully plan, design and deliver large, complex projects - as easily as smaller projects. In addition to building structural design, our structural engineers support our water resources engineers by providing expertise with the specific structural system design of wastewater and water structures and facilities.

GRW is seeking the following qualifications:

  • BSCE with structural emphasis, MSCE preferred.
  • Kentucky PE and SE with 5+ years' experience in a consulting environment designing building structures. Additional state registrations acquired either by existing registration or comity. LEED AP certification a plus.
  • Design skills should include steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and aluminum.
  • Project experience should include water/wastewater treatment, heavy industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities/buildings.
  • Extensive material design code knowledge.
  • Experienced with producing construction documents consisting of plans, sections, and details in 2D & 3D, smart structural schedules, specifications and estimates.
  • Knowledge of current industry BIM and National CADD standards.
  • Knowledge of constructing structural Revit BIM analytical/physical models that can be round tripped to and from structural analysis programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive.
  • BIM Modeling and drafting in Revit, BricsCAD and RAM Structural analysis/STAAD (or equivalent) expertise; MicroStation desirable.
  • Project management abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members.
  • High level of organizational & time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
