Job description

Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in temporary structures, including scaffolding systems, shoring, bracing, and construction support design. This role involves working closely with contractors, project managers, and field teams to develop safe, efficient, and code-compliant solutions for complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analysis of temporary structures including scaffolding, shoring, formwork, and excavation support systems
  • Perform structural calculations and prepare detailed drawings and specifications
  • Review contractor submittals and provide engineering support during construction
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions and ensure compliance with design intent
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery
  • US citizen or green card a must.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 8+ years of structural engineering experience with a focus on temporary structures or construction engineering
