Job Title: Structural Engineer - Commercial Construction Type: Direct Hire Location: Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, TX Preferred | Scottsdale, AZ Considered Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 Base + 10% STIP Bonus Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid Flexibility After Ramp-Up We're looking for a hands-on, production-focused Structural Engineer with commercial construction and Revit experience who enjoys practical design work, foundation analysis, and working in a fast-paced engineering environment. This person will support commercial building and modular construction projects, collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams, and play a key role in structural design execution across multiple active projects. What You'll Do Design structural foundation systems for commercial building projects Prepare structural calculations, studies, and construction documentation Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications Analyze structural loads, support systems, and foundation requirements Support structural design and production work for active commercial projects Utilize Revit and 3D design software daily Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams Support multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment Participate in occasional site visits, office meetings, and project reviews What We're Looking For BS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering PE license OR ability to obtain PE within 1 year 4+ years of structural engineering experience Commercial construction experience required Strong structural/foundation design background Production-focused engineering experience Strong Revit or 3D CAD proficiency Strong communication and collaboration skills Practical, hands-on engineering mindset This Role Is NOT a Fit If You Prefer highly theoretical or research-focused engineering work Want a management-only engineering role Do not enjoy hands-on production/design work Lack commercial construction experience Have primarily residential-only experience Prefer strategy-only roles over technical execution Nice to Have Modular or off-site construction experience Experience with wood and steel framing systems Knowledge of ICC, AISC, and ACI standards Foundation/load analysis experience Why This Role This is an opportunity to join a stable and growing organization supporting commercial projects across multiple markets.
