Structural Engineer
Altoona, PA, Somerset, PA, or Morgantown, WV Offices

Job Summary:

The EADS Group, Inc. which began operation in 1955 is actively seeking a Structural Engineer to be part of our growing multi-discipline consulting engineering firm. As part of this growth we are accepting applications to work at our Altoona, PA, Somerset, PA, or Morgantown, WV offices. The position includes preparation of engineering design calculations, technical specifications, cost estimates, final project deliverables and performance of construction administration activities.


Here's what you'll need:

Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to effectively work within a team environment is required.


Here's what we'd like to see:

A minimum of 4 years of structure design experience including building and water/wastewater structures.

Experience with the design of concrete, steel, masonry and wood structures is desired.

Proficiency with use of structural modeling software and AutoCAD is desired.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the State of West Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure within one year.
