AlignedCardio is a growing private cardiology practice with an entrepreneurial spirit — and we're looking for a skilled Cardiac Stress Test Technician to be part of our next chapter. As we expand throughout Central Virginia, we're building a team of talented, dedicated providers who genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another. You'll work side by side with cardiologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient setting, playing a critical role in diagnosing and monitoring heart health for the patients who trust us with their care. The salary range for this position is $26 to $30/hour based on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Perform exercise and pharmacologic cardiac stress testing according to physician protocols
  • Prepare patients for testing — obtaining medical history and clearly explaining procedures to ease patient concerns
  • Continuously monitor ECG, heart rate, blood pressure, and patient symptoms throughout each test
  • Recognize abnormal findings and communicate them promptly to the supervising physician
  • Accurately document procedures and prepare studies for physician interpretation
  • Maintain stress testing equipment and ensure the department is always emergency-response ready
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to keep patient flow efficient and the patient experience outstanding

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; allied health or cardiovascular training preferred
  • Certification as a Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Stress Test Technician preferred
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • At least one year of cardiac stress testing or related cardiovascular experience preferred
  • Experience in a cardiology practice or hospital setting preferred
  • Strong ECG knowledge, excellent patient communication skills, and sharp attention to detail
  • Familiarity with EHR and cardiology imaging/workflow systems preferred
