Partner across a multidisciplinary engineering team to perform design trades, guide architecture decisions, and ensure structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle. Define and support structural test requirements, provide predictions, oversee test execution, and lead post-test activities to ensure requirements and objectives are met. Prepare and present technical findings with clarity and confidence to internal teams, customers, and program leadership at key design reviews and technical forums.

Deliver high-quality analysis products and documentation. The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field Professional experience performing aerospace stress analysis of metallic and composite structures Active or Current Top Secret Clearance required to start; US Citizenship Required Desired Skills Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of stress analysis experience of metallics and composite structures Experience using NX/Nastran, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Matlab, Mathcad and CREO for analysis of spacecraft, aircraft, or missiles Experience in the planning and execution of structural development and qualification testing Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal Self-motivated, and able and willing to support multiple projects #SpaceFlightScience Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
