Cimarron is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel (formerly GBSD) program in Ogden, UT. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch systems at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND

Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). We invite you to join our team for this phenomenal opportunity to design the future ground leg of the U.S.'s nuclear deterrent. This is an onsite position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e., every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance

For candidates not local to the Ogden area, a relocation allowance can be provided. Cimarron is offering a $5,000 referral bonus for all full-time hires for this opportunity. Key Duties: Perform pipe stress analysis of piping systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code

Model piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads. Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to ensure quality and cost-effective designs. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed.

Apply standard plant design and piping engineering methods, using independent judgment for adaptations and modifications. Participate in design reviews and recommend approval of drawings and data for compliance with requirements. Analyze conflicting design requirements and develop potential solutions.

Evaluate the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques, or coordination requirements. Coordinate plant design engineering activities with specialty groups, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time
