RedRock is seeking a Data Scientist to support a high-priority mission, leveraging expertise in data science, graph databases, and cloud systems. This role involves processing and modeling complex technical data, building custom tools, and developing data pipelines across diverse environments to meet fast-paced targeting and analytics requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the Sponsor's mission needs into actionable data science milestones.
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines for data processing.
  • Deliver ad hoc training on custom tools and data exploitation aligned with use cases.
  • Build user-facing tools using technologies like Python, Neo4J, and Streamlit, incorporating advanced data science methods.
  • Integrate Sponsor-provided LLMs to enhance data science workflows.
  • Identify and improve emerging data workflows to support the Sponsor's mission.
  • Utilize big data and coding platforms to execute data management goals.
  • Be available for occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data exploitation and enrichment using tools like ElasticSearch and Neo4j.
  • Proven experience with complex ETL pipelines (NiFi, Pentaho), batch processing, and data streaming workflows.
  • Experience applying unsupervised machine learning to solve complex customer problems.
  • Proficient in Python and graph databases, with the ability to query across sensitive, multi-repository big data environments.
  • Strong background in backend software engineering, scientific computing, and relevant programming languages.
