Key position functions include:
  • Strengthen Stream-Flo's preferred supplier relationship with customers, by providing a direct avenue to technical support, knowledge and act as internal advocate for the client's technology needs
  • Promote Stream-Flo Group of Companies product and service solutions
  • Enhance Stream-Flo Group of Companies profile with customer base by facilitating Company/Customer discussions and introducing key contacts
  • Identify market opportunities and advise strategies to maintain and/or win business.
  • Provide technical liaison to customer representatives, and pro-actively address issues related to Stream-Flo's products and service, in support of our customers
  • Liaise with engineering regarding technical inquiries
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify market opportunities (products, services, customers) for the Stream-Flo Group of Companies
  • Watch market and work with customer to understand sales product mix, changing technology and selling price. Keeping current with changing trends, industry developments and competitor's strategies
  • Provide the sales and operations updates on product trends and potential changes to standard products being stocked
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with customers and other persons able to understand service requirements. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
  • Support sales in ensuring all technical requirements are being tracked for "critical" open field issues
  • Support clients to resolve technical challenges at the business and field level and provides weekly, monthly reports and feedback
  • Help in researching and developing new products
  • Focus will be on primary accounts in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma
  • Additional task as assigned

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
  • Related post-secondary education and 10 years senior/strategic management experience in an oilfield equipment sales role (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Thorough understanding of US oil and gas industry, including customers, competitors and products
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to create accountability and commitment towards achieving positive results
  • Action oriented - strong entrepreneurial drive and attention to detail
  • A solid reputation for integrity and delivering on commitments
  • Well-developed customer relations skills
  • Strong computer skills - experience with enterprise wide systems is an asset
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, Engineering drawings and specifications are a definite asset
  • Experience with technical / engineered products preferred
