As the Director, MDU Sales, you will lead the overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion efforts for C Spire's Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) business. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales organization focused on accelerating customer acquisition, increasing market penetration, improving customer retention, and expanding C Spire's position as a preferred provider within the MDU industry. You will oversee strategic go-to-market execution, pipeline management, forecasting, operational alignment, and customer experience initiatives that directly impact the growth and profitability of the MDU business.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

Inall ofyour duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

Drive sustained revenue growth and increased market share across the MDU portfolio through strategic sales leadership and business development execution.

Develop and implement high-impact sales initiatives, programs, and operational strategies that position C Spire as the preferred MDU provider within targeted markets.

Identifyand pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion channels that accelerate customer acquisition and penetration.

Lead the MDU sales organization to consistently meet and exceed revenue, profitability, customer growth, and retentionobjectives.

Build, manage, andoptimizea robust sales funnelutilizingSalesforce to ensure pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, accountability, and strong conversion performance.

Establishdisciplined sales processes, reporting standards, KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics that drive performance and continuous improvement.

Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on execution, accountability, customer engagement, and exceeding performance expectations.

Foster a culture of proactive prospecting, relationship development, and strategic pipeline management throughout the sales organization.

Lead the development and execution of the MDU sales strategy and operational roadmap aligned with broader corporateobjectives.

Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, Finance, Product, and Construction teams to improve customer acquisition, retention, and operational execution.

Implement scalable operational processes and workflow improvements that increase organizational efficiency, visibility, and performance consistency.

Develop and execute customer experience strategies that differentiate C Spire in the marketplace and strengthen customer loyalty.

Lead initiatives focused on customer lifecycle management including acquisition, upsell opportunities, retention, churn reduction, and advocacy.

Strengthen market awareness and brand positioning to ensure C Spiremaintainsa competitive advantage within the MDU industry.

Maintainstrong business acumen and ownership over revenue forecasting, profitability, pipeline health, and operational performance.

Adapt quickly to changing market conditions, customer needs, and competitive pressures whilemaintainingfocus on long-term growthobjectives.

Demonstratedsuccess driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and exceeding sales and operational performance targets.

Strong experienceutilizingCRM and sales pipeline management platforms including Salesforce.

Proven ability to develop, manage, andoptimizehigh-performing lead funnels, forecasting processes, and sales performance metrics.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.

Strong strategic thinking, operational leadership, and execution capabilities.

Excellent communication, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect team members.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Candidatemust be based in Coastal Alabama/Mississippi or Ridgeland, Mississippi. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen. Must be willing and able to travel approximately 20% annually.
