Introduction:
Aurelius WaterRise is the dedicated Portfolio Operations team within AURELIUS, a global private equity firm with a 20-year track record of transforming businesses. As our portfolio continues to expand, we are strengthening our U.S. Strategy & Transformation practice and seeking a Senior Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving performance, enabling operational excellence, and supporting the growth of our companies under management.
Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the reorganization and restructuring of our portfolio companies following an acquisition by AURELIUS. Collaborating closely with both the existing management team and the WaterRise team, your primary focus will be to develop and execute comprehensive transformation and restructuring plans that maximize the long-term value of portfolio companies.
This position offers a unique blend of strategic and hands-on responsibilities, allowing you to lead and contribute to a range of captivating projects from inception to successful implementation. Typically spending 12 months on site, you will lead the project management office and actively manage the key value drivers and associated teams.
An exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the private equity sector, featuring substantial exposure to the board of directors while working alongside a team of [200] in-house functional experts.
Required Qualifications and skills:
• Degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of professional experience in either consulting or industry.
• Expertise in carve-outs, restructuring, and operational transformation across a range of industries.
• Experience with a project management office structure and a track record of leading cross-functional teams of staff and line functions in a corporate environment.
• Genuine interest in and knowledge of the private equity model, showcasing your passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional change.
• Analytical thinking, a results-oriented personality, a well-developed sense of responsibility, and a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Proactive, hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
