Job description

New Ventures Technology & Innovation | Strategy & Transformation Team | Strategy and Transformation Manager

The Strategy & Transformation Manager sits at the center of NVTI's strategic priorities - partnering with the Strategy & Transformation Leader and NVTI Leadership Team to shape and execute the NVTI's highest-priority programs. This role will work across a portfolio of firm-level initiatives that touch technology, alliances, start-ups, innovation ecosystem and more - turning ambiguity into clear, executable strategy leaders can act on. It's a role built for someone with organizational knowledge and a bias for action - who thrives under tight deadlines, has the ability to make connections across initiatives, bringing sharp analytical and project management discipline.

Estimated Date of Closure October 3, 2026

Work you'll do

  • Portfolio management:
  • Establish programs with clear plans, owners, decision points, and operating rhythms - with execution risks and dependencies surfaced early and practical mitigation paths in motion
  • Track progress across concurrent NVTI workstreams - priorities, dependencies, owners, and decision points - and escalate execution risks with practical mitigation options
  • Develop reusable templates, trackers, and decision-support tools that improve speed and consistency, leveraging AI and other technology systematically
  • Cross-functional alignment:
  • Coordinate across businesses, enabling functions, and Global to build alignment on shared priorities, translating input into clear next steps and decision pathways
  • Build deeper knowledge of each of the projects, governance and stakeholder perspectives
  • Support defined workstreams and also independently managing selected initiatives, broadening stakeholder relationships
  • Executive engagement & events:
  • Develop decision-ready materials (briefings, status updates, recommendations) for senior leaders and executives, synthesizing complex topics into clear narratives
  • Orchestrate stakeholder meetings, working sessions and cross-functional engagements that are well-prepared and productive, translating into actionable next steps and greater transparency, pace, and discipline across matrixed teams

The successful candidate would possess these skills

  • Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor

The team

New Ventures, Technology, and Innovation (NVTI) is a unique team in Enterprise Solutions focused on rapidly identifying, shaping, experimenting with, and incubating new business opportunities that leverage leading-edge technologies. The team focuses on the impact that strategy, innovation, and technology advances are having on Deloitte's marketplace offerings and internal operations - helping clients and the firm stay ahead of change and turn complexity and disruption into lasting value.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy and transformation, business operations, portfolio management, program management, or a related business-focused discipline

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working independently to translate strategic direction into organized execution - prioritizing competing demands, synthesizing complex business topics, preparing executive level materials, identifying execution risks, and driving workstreams through completion
  • Prior experience working with cross-functional initiatives, particularly within a large, complex, or matrixed organization
  • Practical understanding of GenAI tools and their application to business operations, including the ability to identify high-value use cases and translate them into scalable workflows and process improvements

Wage Disclosure

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
