Build More Than Projects. Help Build the Future of USA Renovations.

USA Renovations is a nationwide commercial specialty contractor serving some of the country's largest retail brands. We specialize in ceiling cleaning, exposed structure cleaning, high dusting, interior painting, pressure washing, and specialty facility services performed during active retail remodels across the United States.

We're entering an exciting new chapter.

Over the past year, our leadership team has been intentionally redesigning how we operate—from our organizational structure and technology platforms to our project delivery processes and operational standards. We're building a high-performing leadership team focused on creating one of the most efficient and process-driven specialty contractors in our industry.

This isn't an opportunity to simply inherit an existing system.

It's an opportunity to help build it.

We're looking for someone who wants to influence operational strategy, improve processes, drive accountability, and become a key member of our leadership team as we continue to grow.

If you're looking for a position where your ideas matter and your decisions directly impact the success of the business, we'd love to talk.

Position Summary

The Operations Project Manager is responsible for the complete operational and financial execution of commercial construction projects from project kickoff through final completion.

This position owns the strategy, planning, scheduling, execution, and financial performance of every assigned project.

You'll develop labor strategies, allocate crews, build production schedules, monitor budgets, protect gross profit margins, and proactively solve operational challenges before they impact project performance.

Success in this role requires balancing customer expectations, field operations, labor efficiency, scheduling, and financial performance simultaneously.

Every operational decision should improve project execution while protecting profitability.

This is not simply a scheduling position—it is a leadership role responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, on budget, and at or above targeted gross profit margins.

Primary Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

  • Own the financial performance of assigned projects from award through closeout
  • Develop labor strategies that maximize efficiency while protecting profitability
  • Monitor budgets, labor costs, lodging, travel, equipment, subcontractor expenses, and production costs
  • Forecast project financial performance throughout execution

  • Collaborate on change order strategy and cost recovery opportunities
  • Drive projects to meet or exceed targeted gross profit margins

  • Develop and maintain master project schedules
  • Coordinate project start dates with customers and field operations
  • Forecast manpower requirements weeks in advance
  • Balance labor resources across multiple active projects

  • Assign crews based on skill set, certifications, availability, and project requirements
  • Maximize crew utilization while minimizing idle time
  • Coordinate travel logistics and project mobilizations
  • Ensure field teams have the resources necessary for successful execution

Project Execution

  • Monitor production across multiple active projects
  • Remove operational obstacles before they impact production
  • Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Field Operations Coordinators, customers, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and customer commitments

Operational Leadership

  • Lead production planning meetings
  • Review field reports and production metrics
  • Analyze project performance and operational trends
  • Escalate issues before they become delays or cost overruns
  • Continuously improve processes and execution standards

  • Keeping crews productive with very little idle time
  • Anticipating problems before they impact customers or profitability
  • Making confident operational decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Creating predictable execution across multiple concurrent projects
  • Becoming a trusted operational leader within the organization
  • Helping build scalable systems that support the future growth of USA Renovations

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, field operations, production, or construction logistics
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and financial performance
  • Strong understanding of labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
