Zillow's New Construction business is building a differentiated marketplace that helps homebuilders connect with high-intent buyers and market new and under-construction homes more effectively. The Strategy & Operations team partners across Sales, Product, Finance, Analytics, and Operations to turn business goals into action, improve sales performance, and support sustainable growth across the business.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Strategy Manager to help Zillow's New Construction sales organization improve revenue performance, strengthen sales execution, and bring greater rigor to forecasting. In this highly cross-functional role, you will partner with sales leadership and key stakeholders to turn insights into action by shaping recommendations, driving alignment, and helping implement scalable ways of working across the organization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Strategy and Operations.
You Will Get To
  • Partner closely with the Senior Sales Director, New Construction to identify revenue drivers, performance trends, and growth opportunities across the sales organization.
  • Develop a deep understanding of sales processes and operationalize sales plays based on market opportunities, funnel insights, and team performance trends.
  • Analyze seller and segment performance to improve pipeline management, conversion, productivity, retention, and overall sales performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and partner with Operations to increase consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Help design and implement more standardized forecasting processes, including clearer definitions, stronger reporting, and more consistent operating rhythms for pipeline and revenue reviews.
  • Partner with Sales leadership, Finance, and Analytics to translate business goals into measurable frontline KPIs.
  • Work with Sales Analytics to refine performance frameworks, dashboards, and reporting that show whether sales strategies and plays are driving results.
  • Synthesize complex data into clear recommendations and communicate insights, tradeoffs, and risks to senior stakeholders to drive alignment and action.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $127,100.00 - $203,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $120,700.00 - $192,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
Who you are
  • 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, GTM strategy and operations, business operations, consulting, finance, or a related field; experience supporting B2B sales organizations preferred. Marketplace, SaaS, media, or proptech experience is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with sales leaders to identify growth opportunities, improve execution, and support revenue planning.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex business issues into clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing business cases, performance insights, or planning recommendations that drive measurable business impact.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Highly collaborative and effective in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, with the ability to work across Sales, Finance, Analytics, Product, and Operations.
  • Strong technical skills, including Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and AI tools; experience using these tools for forecasting, pipeline analysis, and sales performance reporting is preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, building structure where it does not yet exist, and balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
