Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Strategy & Business Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue, ensuring it aligns with the hotel's overall goals and objectives. Identify, prospect, and secure new business while managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations and closure.
  • Client Relationship Management & Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, including meeting planners, and other key stakeholders. Provide personalized service to exceed their expectations. Ensuring client satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Revenue Optimization: Work to achieve and exceed revenue targets by selling meeting space and rooms, while maximizing profitability through effective pricing strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.
  • Event Promotion & Coordination: Develop marketing strategies to increase bookings for events, ensuring seamless event execution and coordination with the operation team.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience: 1-2 + years of experience in sales support, retail, hospitality, or administrative role is preferred. Prior experience with Marriott, Hilton and/or IHG brand may be preferred, but not required. Previous experience working in an extended-stay hotel environment is highly preferred and strongly valued.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to develop sales strategies, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak professionally, confidently, and persuasively.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Products, and CRMs.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Self- Motivated & Driven: Proactive, self-motivated, negotiation and problem-solving abilities. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. 
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office equipment.
  • Occasionally lifting of items up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to travel for sales, calls, client meetings, and industry events as needed.
  • Comfortable working in both office and on-site hotel environments.
