We are hiring a Sr. Strategic Management Consultant to work in the Fort Meade, MD vicinity. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.
Required: TS/SCI with a Polygraph
Collaborates with the client to gather, interpret and translate executive-level guidance into actionable initiatives aligned to appropriate organizational mission areas; and determine value and alignment of proposed initiatives to executive-level strategic guidance, request resources from overseers or mission sponsors, and allocate resources to the highest priority mission areas.
  • Analyze data for program build activities including detailed Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).
  • Provide trend analysis reports to identify gaps in resources.
  • Enhance mapping of resources to efforts, high interest areas, threads, strategic initiatives, etc.
  • Develop Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB)narratives.
  • Provide input for programmatic actions that impact Program Build.
  • Provide support to the readiness process by coordinating the mitigation and binning of deficiencies and concerns.
  • Facilitate the coordination of resource strategies across multiple directorates and organizations.
  • Consolidate Program Build information for executive-level leaders as well as external overseers.
  • Coordinate appropriate stakeholders in the prioritization of requirements across directorates and organizations.
  • Contribute information to responses to RFIs from external overseers regarding resources.
  • Provide support to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) documentation process.
  • Lead meetings, teams, projects, and client support specific to the strategic management environment.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree and twelve (12) or more years of combined experience in Strategic Management (i.e. gathering, interpreting and translating executive-level guidance into actionable initiatives aligned to appropriate organizational mission areas); and/or in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution(PPBE)process or similar enterprise-level portfolio management system (i.e. determining value and alignment of proposed initiatives to executive-level strategic guidance, requesting resources from overseers or mission sponsors, and allocating resources to the highest priority mission areas).
  • Graduate degree or higher will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of overall experience.
  • Four (4) additional years of experience in strategic management or enterprise-level portfolio management (total 16 years overall experience) will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
  • Experience performing task descriptions with little to no guidance.
  • Experience in enterprise-level portfolio management.
