L'etudiant(e) en marketing et communications appuiera l'equipe du Marketing et des communications dans la mise en uvre des initiatives de communication strategique, de narration, d'evenements et de mobilisation de l'hopital. Ce poste offre une occasion unique d'acquerir une experience concrete en communications dans le domaine de la sante tout en contribuant a des projets significatifs mettant en valeur les parcours de patients, l'impact des donateurs, les realisations de l'hopital et les partenariats communautaires.
La personne retenue sera un communicateur ou une communicatrice creatif(ve) et motive(e), dote(e) d'excellentes competences redactionnelles, d'un interet pour la narration numerique et visuelle, et d'une volonte de collaborer a une variete de projets de communication, y compris des evenements.
Principales responsabilites

  • Contribuer a l'elaboration et a la mise en uvre de plans de communication et de marketing alignes sur les priorites organisationnelles.
  • Participer a la recherche, a la generation d'idees et a la creation de contenu pour les strategies et campagnes de communication.
  • Rechercher, rediger et reviser des histoires inspirantes de patients, des nouvelles de l'hopital, des profils du personnel et des recits sur l'impact communautaire pour le site Web, les infolettres et d'autres canaux de communication.
  • Diriger ou soutenir la planification, l'elaboration du contenu, la redaction et la production des infolettres internes.
  • Creer du contenu engageant pour les medias sociaux, notamment des publications ecrites, des photographies, des elements graphiques et des videos.
  • Participer aux projets de production video, notamment la planification, le tournage, le montage et la diffusion de contenu sur les plateformes numeriques.
  • Collaborer avec le ou la designer graphique a la creation de publications, de materiel promotionnel et d'autres outils imprimes et numeriques.
  • Contribuer au respect de l'image de marque et des normes organisationnelles dans l'ensemble des communications.
  • Participer a la mise a jour et a la maintenance du contenu du site Web, au besoin.
  • Appuyer les relations avec les medias, les evenements et les projets speciaux, au besoin.
  • Effectuer une veille des tendances en communication et dans les medias sociaux et formuler des recommandations pour de nouvelles occasions de contenu.
  • Accomplir toute autre tache connexe confiee.


Qualifications requises

  • Etre actuellement inscrit(e) a un programme universitaire en communications, relations publiques, journalisme, marketing, medias numeriques ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Bilinguisme (francais et anglais), a l'oral comme a l'ecrit.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication ecrite et orale.
  • Solides competences en narration, en entrevue et en revision de textes.
  • Connaissance des plateformes de medias sociaux et des meilleures pratiques en communications numeriques.
  • Experience de l'utilisation des applications Microsoft 365.
  • Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et grand souci du detail.
  • Capacite a travailler de facon autonome ainsi qu'en collaboration au sein d'une equipe.

Job Summary

The Student, Marketing and Communications will support the Marketing and Communications team in advancing the hospital's strategic communications, storytelling, events, and engagement initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health-care communications while contributing to meaningful projects that highlight patient journeys, donor impact, hospital achievements and community partnerships.

The successful candidate will be a creative and motivated communicator with strong writing skills, an interest in digital and visual storytelling, and a willingness to collaborate across a variety of communications projects, including events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of communications and marketing plans aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Contribute ideas, research and content to communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Research, write and edit compelling patient stories, hospital news, staff profiles and community impact stories for the hospital website, newsletters and other communications channels.
  • Lead or support the planning, content development, writing and production of internal newsletters.
  • Develop engaging social media content, including written posts, photography, graphics and video content.
  • Assist with video production projects, including planning, filming, editing and publishing content for digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to develop publications, promotional materials and other print and digital assets.
  • Help ensure brand consistency and compliance across all communications materials.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating website content as required.
  • Support media relations, events and special projects as needed.
  • Monitor communications and social media trends and provide recommendations for new content opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, digital media or a related field.
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent storytelling, interviewing and editing abilities.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital communications best practices.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic photography, videography and video editing skills.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
  • Interest in health care, non-profit organizations or community engagement.
