Essential Functions: The Development Manager helps raise vital funds to support the mission of Manning Family Children's with a strong focus on signature event sponsorships and corporate partnerships. Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a targeted list of event sponsors and corporate partners. Also engages in developing a base of philanthropic support for the organization, formulates and implements fundraising strategies to grow the base of support for the organization, in coordination with the leader. Closely works with various leaders to promote and further the fundraising goals and priorities of the hospital.
Experience Qualifications
  • 5 years of direct fundraising or related experience in event sponsorships and corporate partnerships for nonprofits, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Transferable or related experience such as marketing, public relations, or sales will be considered

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Familiarity with fundraising software (preference given to Raiser's Edge).
  • Strong written and personal communication skills.
  • Good organizational ability and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to effectively manage budgets, communication timelines and portfolio management
