Job description

Review facility energy usage daily and provide guidance, best practices, and operational modifications
Mentor the owner on energy strategies
Manage Central Energy Plant operations and maintenance, including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers
Manage Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the Central Energy Plant
Work with operators to ensure efficient plant operation
Conduct ongoing training for Plant Operators
Develop and maintain the Plant Operating Manual
Assist the EPC team with coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities with OMC operations
Coordinate on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services
Manage one or multiple teams consisting of one or more Asset Managers

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in managing multiple sites and/or multiple Assistant Asset Managers/Asset Managers I/II, or managing a single site of comparable size/complexity
  • Alternatively, 4+ years of management experience in a central plant or facility
  • Alternatively, 4+ years of experience in mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant
  • Well versed in building codes and associated standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
  • PE preferred or FE and working towards obtaining PE
  • Ability to travel 10–25% of the time to job sites/office locations
  • Ability to climb stairs and ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to move in different positions and work in tight and confined spaces
  • Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work in noisy and quiet environments
  • Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
