Job description

The Strategy Analyst is responsible for providing market analysis and consultation to all Premier Health entities. The position will also provide support to initiatives, projects, and strategies. The position will collaborate with service line leaders and the business development division, providing data and research for the development of strategies and business plans. The position will regularly test hypotheses, assess markets, track competitor activities, track and forecast volumes, assess physician need, and monitor literature for healthcare trends and new technologies.
This position reports directly to the Strategic Market Development Manager within this Strategic Market Development Department of the Division of Strategy & Business Development.
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
1. Ability to communicate relevant data clearly and succinctly.
2. Familiarity with MS Office suit - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint; knowledge of mapping software desirable.
3. Ability to work independently and problem solve.
4. The ability to manage multiple projects and assess priorities.
5. An understanding of market research, statistical methodologies and primary and secondary research.
6. Ability to lead with curiosity and analytical interest
7. Knowledge of medical and healthcare terminology desirable.
8. Ability to effectively educate others on competitor activities, national trends, new technology, etc.
9. Basic understanding of financial data.
