The Director of Contract Management will oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with large retailers, ensuring alignment withGenerac's operating needs and strategic goals.This role will be client-facing and will collaborate closely with Sales leadership, legal, operations teams, and executive stakeholders toestablishideal operating terms and then negotiate directly with our customer partners.The ideal candidate will have a proventrack recordin contract administration, operational excellence, and leadership within a complex, multi-channel sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with largecustomer organizations acrossGenerac Homebusiness units

  • Ensure proper contract fulfillmentin accordance withcompany policies, legalrequirementsand customer specificationsby collaborating cross-functionally across the organization

  • Establishoperational processes anddepartmental RACI between Contracts team, Complianceteamand Sales team

  • Act as a liaison between sales and our customerstonegotiate contractual terms and conditions

  • Operationalize a continuous process to check in with operational teams to ensure contractsremainup todate with internal needs

  • Advocate on behalf of Generac needs and standards of operations

  • Identifyprofitability enhancement opportunities within contractual agreementsand contribute to cost savings initiatives

  • Partner with compliance teams regularly to understand complianceconcerns and how contract adjustments can ensure less compliance violations and fines

  • Lead contract management improvements and initiatives including investigating and implementing automated solutions, such as CLM

  • Compare contractual obligations across the organization toidentifycommonareaswhile driving operational improvements in collaboration with sales channel VPsand other senior leaders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM

  • Experience implementing and leveraging a CLM software
