Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst, Strategy & Analytics based in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced analytics professional to act as a strategic partner to marketing leadership within a fast-paced, fully remote global organization. In this role, you will transform complex marketing data into actionable insights that directly shape business decisions across SEM, SEO, and emerging AI-driven acquisition channels. You will define key metrics, build forecasting models, and develop analytical frameworks that connect marketing performance to revenue outcomes. Working at the intersection of data, strategy, and operations, you will also influence how marketing effectiveness is measured and optimized at scale. The environment is highly collaborative and intellectually demanding, requiring both technical depth and strong business intuition. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to have a direct impact on strategic marketing decisions.

Accountabilities
  • Analyze large and complex marketing datasets to identify trends, root causes, and performance drivers across SEM, SEO, and AI-driven acquisition channels.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to support data-driven decision-making across marketing leadership.
  • Build forecasting models, perform statistical analysis, and run experiments to evaluate marketing performance and optimize spend allocation.
  • Define and standardize marketing metrics that accurately reflect business objectives and align cross-functional teams.
  • Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations that improve conversion, efficiency, and revenue generation.
  • Map end-to-end marketing funnels and data flows from acquisition through revenue generation to improve visibility and optimization opportunities.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to enhance analytics workflows, automate reporting, and assess AI-driven search channel performance.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, data, and business stakeholders to align priorities and support strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or marketing analytics roles.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in consulting or analytical operations environments.
  • Strong expertise in analyzing SEM, SEO, and AI-driven or generative search marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Experience with R, Python, or similar analytical tools is considered a plus.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for analytics or automation purposes.
  • Proven ability to connect data insights to business strategy, financial outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts in a simple, actionable way.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify blind spots.
Benefits
  • Fully remote working model with global flexibility.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-impact, data-driven marketing analytics function.
  • Exposure to advanced marketing channels, including AI-driven search and generative discovery platforms.
  • Strong autonomy and ownership over analytical frameworks and strategic insights.
  • Collaborative, international, and fast-paced working environment.
  • Opportunity to influence high-level marketing strategy and business decisions.
  • Access to modern data tools, BI platforms, and AI technologies.
  • Transparent, market-aligned compensation shared prior to the interview process.
