Program Manager-Strategic Planner
***This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance
Project Manager is responsible for strategic coordination and execution to ensure organizational goals are met by managing projects, policies, and initiatives effectively. Will act as a bridge between leadership and operational teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.
Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Project & Initiative Management: Coordinate and manage projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets

  • Policy & Program Support: Develop, coordinate, and execute short- and long-term plans; provide guidance on policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a liaison between departments and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration

  • Data & Reporting: Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and procedures

  • Crisis & Contingency Support: Assist in crisis management and contingency planning

Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, systems engineering, and federal acquisition requirements

  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail; ability to multitask

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred

  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar role; in defense sectors, 5-10 years in DoD/IC or related environments

  • Certifications - PMP, CAPM or other relevant credentials not required but preferred

  • Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
